Studying karate offers young children the chance to develop both physically and emotionally. Karate teaches self-defense and the practice of these techniques contributes to enhanced motor skills, coordination and overall physical fitness

Karate builds confidence, hones leadership skills. As children ascend through the ranks, they naturally find themselves in roles where they lead example. Higher level belts often serve as mentors for lower ranked students, assisting them in understanding techniques, providing encouragement and offering support. MUSABIRE GANZA Bruno, a P4 student is the mentor of his colleagues while the coach is absent.

Karate develops character where wearing upper level belt requires a demonstration of correct techniques which can only achieved through consistent effort and dedication to the discipline. Young karate students learn resilience and copping mechanisms to handle the threat. Resilience is one of the three values of TMA which are Unity, determination and resilience.

Playing karate encourages self discipline, promotes healthy body and weight. MUHIRE SHAMI Christella, a P5 student said that karate has helped her to develop and maintain a healthy body with healthy foods and nutrients as well as the right amounts of physical activity. She thank the parents who have urged her to join the karate club.
