On 17 June 2023, TMA students visited Rwanda Cultural Heritage Academy Ethnographic Museum in Huye District

The objective of the filed visit is to reinforce the theories learned by observing memorial sites and other objects studied in Social studies, Kinyarwanda and other subjects.

On the way to Huye, they visited Kamegeri’s rock and get informed on why it has been so called. They have also shown other places which are known in the History of Rwanda like Rucunshu, Ijuru rya Kamonyi, …

 

In the Ethnographic Museum of Huye, they observed different materials used in Rwandan culture in Agriculture, breeding, playing, means of transport, … and have seen some photos of the two last King of Rwanda and all the Presidents of Rwanda. Note that the Tembera U Rwanda program is organized once a year.
